Loughborough Mela is an annual event that celebrates the richness of cultural diversity in Charnwood. The Mela is a one day, out door event which takes place at Southfields Park, Loughborough.

Project Details
This year’s event was attended by over 3,000 people and included a puppet theatre, mini world cup football tournament, children’s area, funfair rides, international foods, singing and dancing from different cultures and stalls.

The planning for Loughborough Mela 2007 will start in February 2007 and will take place in August/September 2007.
