Charnwood has been identified as the borough which faces the most significant climate change impacts in Leicestershire and possibly the East Midlands.
The increased likelihood of severe and frequent floods, extreme storms and high temperatures has implications for health, natural environment, agricultural practices, immigration, transport, housing and emergency planning.
The consultative workshops will take place on the 27th January 2010 at 2 – 4.30pm and 5 – 7.30pm at Loughborough Town Hall, Council Chambers.
